Two teams having disappointing seasons are weary of the trade market.
On Saturday's broadcast of Hockey Night in Canada, Elliotte Friedman reported just that as the Edmonton Oilers and Philadelphia Flyers are reluctant to make any deals.
"A lot of fans in Edmonton, Philadelphia wondering about their particular teams, the word from other clubs who have tried to deal with them is that they want to be careful ... " Friedman said.
"Philly in particular, the word is if you want one of their valuable players who might be available you have to take back another contract if you want to get that deal done," Friedman explained.
The Flyers aren't known for making great trades, so this is at least a positive for Flyers fans.
