Former Ottawa Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson took the ice for one final time Thursday night, skating in the pregame warm up after signing a one-day contract with the team earlier in the day.
Alfredsson connected with fans at Canadian Tire Centre before taking the ice.
The Senators lined up and saluted him as he emerged.
He even took a moment to acknowledge the crowd.
