This isn't what the Anaheim Ducks wanted to hear.
The club has announced that star forward Corey Perry has been diagnosed with a knee injury, and a timetable for his return to the lineup won't be known until the team returns home following Sunday's game against the Winnipeg Jets.
Perry was injured on a hit from Minnesota Wild defenseman Keith Ballard during Anaheim's 5-4 victory on Friday.
He's recorded 14 goals and eight assists in 23 games so far this season.
