The Pittsburgh Penguins will be without ace volume shooter Patric Hornqvist for at least one more game, according to head coach Mike Johnston:
Hornqvist sustained an apparent head injury Thursday when he was run over by Vancouver Canucks defenseman Ryan Stanton following a Sidney Crosby hospital pass.
The 27-year-old net-front specialist has meshed extraordinarily well with Crosby in his first season with the Penguins, and has managed 11 goals and 25 points in 25 games this season. He's been particularly crucial on the potent Penguins power play, and has contributed four power-play goals and screened the opposition goaltender on many more.
