Sabres' Girgensons dominating All-Star voting after 3 weeks
Internet servers in Latvia have been working overtime since NHL All-Star voting opened three weeks ago.
Buffalo Sabres center Zemgus Girgensons remains the top vote-getter for the annual event with 803,805 total votes, adding more than 400,000 in the past week alone, the league announced Tuesday.
He certainly owes the good folks back home in Latvia a lot of credit.
The NHL is saying 82% of Girgensons's votes for the all-star team came from Latvia. That's 660,000 votes from country of two million people.

Duncan Keith and P.K. Subban lead all defensemen in voting, while Corey Crawford holds the edge in net.
Voting concludes Jan. 1.
