Garbutt will have a hearing Thursday morning regarding his slew-foot on the Jets' Dustin Byfuglien in Tuesday's game.
Analysis:
Garbutt returned from a two-game suspension just two weeks ago for kneeing the Oilers' Taylor Hall, so don't expect the NHL's Department of Player Safety to give him the benefit of the doubt when they rule on his case Thursday. It seems all but certain that another suspension -- or at least a healthy fine -- will be coming Garbutt's way.
