The Tampa Bay Lightning have been unable to buy a bounce in recent weeks, which continued in the first period of their contest against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night.
The Lightning hit the post on two occasions in the period, and beat Flyers goaltender Steve Mason a third time on the power play - only to have defenseman Nick Schultz absolutely rob Jonathan Drouin with a stellar kick save:
The Lightning are like the anti-Sabres, in that recently they've been really good and really unlucky.
