Hurricanes activate Semin from injured reserve

The Carolina Hurricanes activated forward Alexander Semin from injured reserve following Saturday's shootout loss to the New York Rangers.
Semin has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury. He has scored just one goal in 21 contests.
