Detroit Red Wings forward Justin Abdelkader might have a second career as a lacrosse player if he so desires.

Abdelkader batted home a loose puck in front of the Boston Bruins' net on a no-look backhanded stab Monday night, beating a stunned Tuukka Rask to tie the game in the first period.
