Jagr becomes oldest NHL player to record hat trick
Jaromir Jagr cannot and will not stop scoring goals.
The 42-year-old New Jersey Devils forward recorded a hat trick in Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers, the 15th of his career and his first since March 22, 2006, according to the club.
Two of the goals were scored in the first period on Ray Emery, while the third came in the middle frame at the expense of Steve Mason.
The goal also inches Jagr higher up the NHL's all-time scoring list.
With the hat trick, Jagr (714) moves within three goals of Phil Esposito for fifth on the all-time #NHL list.

At 42 years and 322 days old, he became the oldest player in NHL history to record a hat trick, surpassing Gordie Howe, who did so at 41 years and 217 days old, according to Elias Sports Bureau.
Jagr didn't appear to be thrilled with the distinction.
Jagr: "I like to score hat trick, but I don't like (being) the oldest guy (to do it). I don't want to be the oldest guy, "
