Brendan Gallagher sides with random Lions fan over teammate Prust in Twitter fight
On Sunday, Montreal Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher decided to pick sides in a Twitter argument between teammate Brandon Prust and some random Detroit Lions fans. Oddly enough, he elected to support the random Lions fan.
Here's how the fight started, with Prust celebrating the Dallas Cowboys' victory in a somewhat more subdued fashion than how, say, Chris Christie celebrated:
What a win! #Cowboys .. My heart needs a rest after that

Because it wasn't pass interference .. Suck ittttttttt @Gman16

Cry me a river. Lions 1 playoff win in 57 years.. They should just fold @Gman16

This is the point when Gallagher jumped in and, rather than backing up his teammate, sided with Mr. Mantha:

Prust fired back by taking a shot at Gallagher's favorite team, the Cincinnati Bengals, who no-showed in a loss on Sunday to the Indianapolis Colts:
How'd cincy do today? How can u even see ur phone with all those tears in ur eyes @BGALLY17

The "tears in ur eyes" burn isn't the strongest, and the exchange needed more emojis - but still, pretty funny.
Also funny: P.K. Subban celebrated the Cowboys' victory as only he can:
