April Reimer launches #tweetsweet campaign to combat cyberbullying
April Reimer - the wife of Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender James Reimer - is no stranger to venomous abuse online.
In the recent past, on multiple occasions, April has been the target of online harassment on Twitter. Trolls have even gone so far as to find her cell phone number and send her harassing text messages, according to the Globe and Mail's James Mirtle.
This week, April announced her plans for fighting back.
The campaign is called "Tweet Sweet". The website can be found at tweetsweet.ca and people who use the #tweetsweet hashtag on Twitter will be eligible to win Maple Leafs tickets twice monthly.

"Sad to say, I've had these kinds of comments for years," April said, according to the Globe and Mail. "You kind of get a little numb to them."
April appeared at Park Lawn Middle School in Toronto to discuss the issue of cyberbullying, and she hopes to take the campaign national.
"I hope to be very busy," Reimer said. "I don't charge the schools to come.
"At least this is taking a negative situation and using it for something positive. It's not like this happened for no reason. And (bullying) happens to everybody. It's not just hockey wives."
