New Jersey Devils forward Jaromir Jagr will not accompany the team to Los Angeles for Wednesday's game against the Kings, the Devils announced.
Neither Jagr, nor winger Tuomo Ruutu, will join the Devils on the trip. Both players are ill.
Jagr has missed one game as a Devil since joining the team in 2013.
After Los Angeles, New Jersey concludes its three-game California road swing by facing the Anaheim Ducks on Friday and the San Jose Sharks on Monday.
