Chicago Blackhawks forward Dan Carcillo finds himself in some hot water as a result of a vicious cross-check on Winnipeg Jets forward Mathieu Perreault on Friday.
The Blackhawks pugilist is facing a suspension that could extend for six games or longer:

Perreault is set to miss a handful of games with an upper-body injury that he sustained on the play.
Though Perreault, who has proven a productive addition for the Jets in a second-line wing role, will miss some time with injury, he did not sustain a bone fracture on the play, according to TVA's Renaud Lavoie.
