St. Louis Blues head coach Ken Hitchcock recorded the 685th victory of his distinguished career Saturday night, passing Pat Quinn for sole possession of fifth place in the all-time record books.
The victory for Hitchcock, a noted advocate of the 200-foot game, came in appropriate fashion. St. Louis shut out the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-0 Saturday night.
His milestone comes in his 19th season and 1,285th game behind an NHL bench.
