Chicago Blackhawks forward Dan Carcillo will reportedly meet face-to-face with head disciplinarian Stephane Quintal and the Department of Player Safety to answer for his hit on Winnipeg Jets forward Mathieu Perreault.
Carcillo will appear in-person for the hearing, an opportunity he was given on Saturday, Sportsnet's John Shannon reports.
Perreault will not play Sunday against the Arizona Coyotes, and is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
He sustained the injury in Friday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks.
