Ottawa Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson is known for many things, but his physical presence is not one of them.
The offensively gifted Norris Trophy winner targeted J.T. Miller of the New York Rangers as the recipient of a potentially thunderous body check Tuesday, but ended up bearing the brunt of the exchange.
Karlsson is credited with 49 hits through 45 games, but it was the thought that counted on this attempt.
