Colorado Avalanche defenseman Erik Johnson missed the weekend's All-Star festivities, and it turns out he'll be out a lot longer.
Head coach Patrick Roy revealed Monday Johnson will miss the next three-to-eight weeks after undergoing a knee scope.
"He is, first of all, very disappointed about the situation," Roy said. "(But) it's out of our control."
Johnson registered 23 points in 47 games.
