Mike Richards is headed for New Hampshire.
The veteran forward will report to the AHL's Manchester Monarchs on Wednesday after clearing waivers Tuesday, general manager Dean Lombardi told Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times.
The team later confirmed the move in a release.
Richards is under contract for another five years at $5.75 million. The Kings will get $925,000 in cap relief by sending him to their AHL affiliate, according to TSN's Bob McKenzie.
He scored five goals and added 10 assists in 47 games.
