Senators' Phillips matches Alfredsson's franchise record for games played

Chris Phillips joined celebrated company in Ottawa Senators lore when he skated in his 1,178th game Saturday versus the Arizona Coyotes.
His start tied a franchise record for games played in a Senators uniform, currently held exclusively by former captain and longtime teammate Daniel Alfredsson.
Phillips has spent his entire 17-year career with the Senators, who made him the first overall selection in the 1996 NHL Draft.
