Colin Greening clears waivers, assigned to Senators' AHL affiliate

Colin Greening appears bound for Binghamton.

The forward cleared waivers Wednesday, and has been assigned to the Ottawa Senators' AHL affiliate in upstate New York, as first reported by Chris Johnston of Sportsnet.

The club will presumably continue to seek out a trade partner, although the length and valuation of Greening's contract may remain prohibitive.
