Report: Rob Blake hasn't spoken to Maple Leafs about GM job

Rob Blake reportedly won't become general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs any time soon.
"He says he's not going anywhere for the foreseeable future, for both family reasons and professional reasons," Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported on Hockey Night in Canada's "Headlines" segment Saturday.
"(Blake said) 'I'm learning in a great spot with a team that has won a couple of Stanley Cups recently, so any rumors out there, don't buy into them. He specifically said he has not spoken to Toronto at all," Friedman added.
The Kings' assistant GM was speculatively linked to the Maple Leafs by TSN's Bob McKenzie during a radio appearance on Friday.
McKenzie said that while Blake isn't likely interested in joining the Maple Leafs, the former defenseman would be Leafs president Brendan Shanahan's top choice to replace general manager Dave Nonis.
Guess we can put that idea to rest - for now.
