Vancouver Canucks forward Alex Burrows channeled his inner Diego Maradona on Thursday night against the San Jose Sharks, but unfortunately for the Canucks, this goal didn't count.
Burrows committed the hockey equivalent of a hand ball in the second period against the San Jose Sharks, punching the puck into the net with his glove.

Officials reviewed the play and quickly disallowed the goal.
