New York Islanders captain John Tavares completed his team's comeback with a beauty solo effort in overtime against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday.
The Isles found themselves trailing 2-0 and 3-1, but after the team scored three times in the third period, the stage was set for Tavares's 33rd goal of the season.
Tavares grabbed the puck at center ice and then carried it through three blue-and-white pylons - or players, as they're called - en route to the net.
With a helper on Tyler Kennedy's goal early in the third period, Tavares now has a three-point edge on Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom for the NHL scoring lead.
