The Columbus Blue Jackets lost a pair of defensemen in a 7-1 win over the St. Louis Blues on Friday.
Ryan Murray suffered a lower-body injury blocking a shot in the third period, according to Blue Jackets vice-president of communications Todd Sharrock.
Murray left the game and didn't return.
The blue-liner suffered a knee injury and underwent surgery last March, then aggravated the ailment in November. He has one point in seven games.
Veteran defenseman James Wisniewski also suffered an undisclosed injury, according to Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch.
Both players will reportedly be evaluated on Saturday and won't travel with the team for their game that evening against the Ottawa Senators.
