Predators' Ekholm leaves game with upper-body injury, won't return

Nashville Predators defenseman Mattias Ekholm left Sunday's game against the Florida Panthers in the second period after a collision along the boards with Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov.

Ekholm has an upper-body injury and will not return, according to the Predators broadcast.

Florida forward Jimmy Hayes interfered with Ekholm, for which the Panthers winger was penalized, and then Barkov fell into Ekholm against the boards.
