Blues, Devils: take note.
The San Jose Sharks have acquired Evgeni Nabokov from the Tampa Bay Lightning and called a press conference for Wednesday to clarify his playing future.
Nabokov, 39, will retire a member of the Sharks, who drafted him 219th overall in 1994, according to multiple reports.
He spent 10 seasons in San Jose and won 206 games, 50 being shutouts.
The classy gesture by both the Lightning and Sharks will cost San Jose future considerations.
