Murray (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Shawn Mitchell of The Columbus Dispatch reports.
Analysis:
Murray is out four-to-six weeks due to the ankle injury, so it comes as no surprise that the team placed him on injured reserve to open up a roster spot. The Blue Jackets will likely make a corresponding move at some point in the near future.
