Two Ducks have been grounded at an inopportune time.
Forward Matt Beleskey will miss two-to-four weeks with an upper-body injury, while Sami Vatanen is out four-to-six weeks with a lower-body issue, Anaheim announced Tuesday.
Both players suffered the injuries during Sunday's loss to Washington.
While the Ducks hold a 10-point advantage over second-place Vancouver in the Pacific Division, Beleskey's 21 goals and Vatanen's 34 points have been integral to the team's success.
If all goes well, the pair will be back in top form in time for the postseason.
