San Jose Sharks fans gave retired netminder Evgeni Nabokov one final send-off prior to the start of Wednesday's game against the Washington Capitals.
Nabokov holds every Sharks franchise record for goaltending after 10 seasons in net for San Jose. He hasn't played a game for the Sharks since 2010, but fans saluted his achievements with a standing ovation as he dropped the ceremonial first puck of the contest.
The Sharks acquired Nabokov from the Tampa Bay Lightning so he could retire as a member of the franchise.
