After opening February with a point in his first three games, Nash was held off the score sheet in his next two games, during which he went a collective minus-4. With Andrej Nestrasil and Jay McClement proving deserving of additional ice time, coach Bill Peters elected to send Rask to the press box, but it shouldn't become a permanent arrangement for the 21-year-old. Whether it's with the parent club or at AHL Charlotte, Rask needs to play on a regular basis, and the Hurricanes can't afford to let him sit for much longer.
