Gazdic (chin) will not play Wednesday against the Bruins, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports.
Analysis:
Gazdic was forced to exit Monday's game against the Jets after taking a slash to the face from Dustin Byfuglien that required eight stitches. The winger seems to have healed up from the gash, as he was back on the ice for Wednesday's morning skate, but coach Todd Nelson elected to keep him out for an extra day. Matt Fraser, who was claimed off waivers from the Bruins in December, will enter the lineup in place of Gazdic for a match against his former team.
