Malcolm Subban's first NHL stint didn't last long.
The Boston Bruins reassigned the young goaltender to their AHL affiliate in Providence on Saturday after the 21-year-old started Friday's game against the St. Louis Blues. Subban allowed three goals on six shots in his NHL debut, lasting 31:15.
The Bruins also recalled forward Ryan Spooner from Providence as part of its transactions Saturday.
