This probably isn't a record Michal Neuvirth will write home about.
The Buffalo Sabres goaltender has been fined $2,000 for violating NHL Rule 64 (diving/embellishment), the league announced Wednesday.
Neuvirth becomes the first goaltender to be fined for such a violation.
The incident in question occurred in a game against Nashville on Feb. 22 and involved Mike Santorelli.
