Maple Leafs trade Winnik to Penguins for Zach Sill, 2 draft picks

The Toronto Maple Leafs have dealt forward Daniel Winnik to the Pittsburgh Penguins, the teams announced Wednesday.
The Penguins sent Zach Sill, a fourth-round draft pick in 2015 and second-round pick in 2016 to Toronto.

Winnik scored seven goals and added 19 assists in 60 games with the Maple Leafs after signing with Toronto last summer.
Sill had three points in 42 games with the Penguins. He will be an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
The Maple Leafs will retain 50 percent of Winnik's $1.3-million contract, according to multiple reports.
