Bruins recall goaltender Jeremy Smith from AHL

The Boston Bruins have recalled goaltender Jeremy Smith from the AHL's Providence Bruins.

Boston's starting netminder Tuukka Risk is reportedly sick, according to Joe Haggerty of Comcast Sportsnet, so the move may be a quick fill-in stint for the 25-year-old Smith.

The former second-round pick is 14-8-4 with Providence in 26 appearances and has no NHL games to his credit.
