New York Islanders forward Kyle Okposo is set to reunite with his teammates after more than a month away.
Okposo is scheduled to rejoin the Islanders on their current road trip, according to Newsday's Arthur Staple.
The winger had surgery to repair a detached retina on Jan. 20. He has missed 20 games and was originally given a timetable of six-to-eight weeks.
The team is in the midst of a four-game road swing that continues in Florida on Saturday and concludes in Toronto on Monday.
Okposo tallied 44 points in 46 games prior to the injury.
