Stars' Seguin returns after missing 10 games with knee injury
The Dallas Stars will have Tyler Seguin back sooner than expected.
The star center, who missed 10 games with a knee injury suffered on Feb. 13, will make his return to the lineup in Saturday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The timeline on his expected recovery was three-to-six weeks.
Seguin will reclaim his spot on the top line with Jamie Benn and Cody Eakin.
In 55 games prior to the injury, Seguin scored 29 goals and added 30 assists.
Seguin was eyeing a Tuesday return after he skated Thursday, marking his first time on the ice in three weeks since being injured. Stars coach Lindy Ruff upgraded Seguin's status to a game-time decision ahead of Saturday's contest against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Dallas went 3-5-2 without Seguin, and entered Saturday's action eight points out of a playoff spot.
