Senators' Anderson will make 1st start since January vs. Flames
Craig Anderson will get a chance to steal Ottawa's starting job back from the "Hamburglar" when the Senators host the Calgary Flames on Sunday.
Anderson was confirmed as Ottawa's starter after being the first goaltender off the ice following practice Sunday morning. Anderson's start ends a run of eight consecutive for Andrew Hammond, who's been defying all expectations with a 1.54 goals-against average and .954 save percentage in his first taste of NHL action.
An 11-year veteran, Anderson has not played since Jan. 21 due to a hand injury. The Senators activated him off injured reserve a week ago, but decided to ride Hammond's hot streak during their Western Conference road trip.
