Lightning's Palat suffers lower-body injury against Canadiens

Ondrej Palat left Tuesday's game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Montreal Canadiens due to a lower-body injury.

Palat suffered the injury blocking a shot late in the second period and did not return to the game. He entered Tuesday with 52 points in 63 contests.

Lightning coach Jon Cooper was optimistic about Palat's injury after the contest. Palat will be re-evaluated Wednesday.
