Subban's Stunner celebration nothing new for Tokarski
Last week, a video of Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban giving the Stone Cold Stunner to goaltender Dustin Tokarski went viral.
However, this wasn't the first time the signature finishing move of former wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin has been delivered on or by Tokarski in a post game celebration.
"We all know P.K., he doesn't mind the spotlight," Tokarski told Dave Stubbs of the Montreal Gazette. "Well, Dale Weise and I have actually done (the Stunner) after every win this season, in the scrum on the ice.
"Dale and I started doing it at the start of the year and it's carried over all season. P.K. kinda stole some fame from Dale on Twitter, so maybe you can set that straight."
Only the Anaheim Ducks have won more games than the Canadiens, so by season's end the team should be able to build their own Stunner compilation.
