Ducks' Wisniewski scratched Thursday vs. Bruins
Kelvin Kuo / USA TODAY Sports
James Wisniewski is getting a chance to watch his new team from on high.
The recently acquired Anaheim Ducks defenseman will be a healthy scratch for Thursday's game against the Boston Bruins in lieu of Cam Fowler, who sat out the team's previous contest.
Wisniewski has recorded three assists and 13 shots in eight games since moving to Anaheim from Columbus, but this decision is more likely tied to the Ducks' depth on the blue line and the chance to rest players in advance of the playoffs.
