Jonathan Quick prevented the Los Angeles Kings from falling behind 2-0 with an improbable glove save in the second period of Thursday's game against the New York Islanders.
Islanders forward Anders Lee received a pass alone in the slot with Quick out of position and fired a shot to the open side of the net, but the Kings' netminder stretched out with his glove to bat the opportunity away.
Quick's save proved timely as Los Angeles scored to tie the contest four minutes later. The Kings went on to win 3-2.
