Tuukka Rask: (Undisclosed) Leaves Game Saturday
Rask left Saturday's start against the Rangers shortly after the start of the second period, likely due to an undisclosed injury, Joe MacDonald of ESPN Boston reports.
Analysis:
Rask was on his game prior to his departure, stopping all 14 shots he faced while his mates staked him to a 3-0 lead. Assuming that replacement Niklas Svedberg can limit the Rangers to two or fewer goals, Rask will still escape with the win, but that's probably the least of the Bruins' concerns right now. The team has yet to provide an update on the star netminder, and may not reveal further information regarding a possible injury until after the game concludes. The Bruins will play again Sunday in Carolina.
