Canadiens clinch playoff spot with overtime win over the Panthers

With Max Pacioretty's overtime goal against the Florida Panthers on Saturday night the Montreal Canadiens clinched a playoff spot.
The Canadiens have clinched their third-straight playoff appearance and sixth in the last seven years.
Pacioretty notched his 36th goal of the year on the power play, tapping in the cross-ice pass from David Desharnais giving the Canadiens a 3-2 win.
With the win, Montreal also takes over first place in the Eastern Conference with 102 points, moving one point ahead of the New York Rangers.
The Canadiens have six games remaining and are just one point behind the Anaheim Ducks in the race for the President's Trophy.
