Senators' Hammond ready to return despite ailing back

Andrew Hammond confirmed Monday that it's been an injury to his back that has forced him from action over the last few games, but he's now healthy enough for a return to the Ottawa Senators' crease.
Both Hammond and Craig Anderson, who was saddled with the loss Sunday versus the Florida Panthers, practiced in full, but head coach Dave Cameron didn't reveal who would get the start Tuesday versus the Detroit Red Wings.
Hammond had his miraculous 14-0-1 run as a starter end with a 5-1 loss to the New York Rangers last week, a start in which he clearly looked bothered by his injury.
