Carey Price emerges as odds-on favorite to win Hart Trophy

As the regular season winds down, individual player awards become a major talking point, and a goaltender appears set to be named the NHL's most valuable player for the eighth time in the history of the Hart Trophy.
According to Bodog, Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens is the odds-on favorite to win the Hart, becoming the first goalie to win since Jose Theodore - also with the Canadiens - back in 2002.
Price, however, will have to hold off three of the game's brightest stars, and another goalie who has put his team on his back this season.
Here's a look at the top-five candidates.
| Player | Odds |
|---|---|
| Carey Price (MTL) | 1/3 |
| Alex Ovechkin (WSH) | 7/2 |
| Sidney Crosby (PIT) | 7/1 |
| Devan Dubnyk (MIN) | 15/1 |
| John Tavares (NYI) | 20/1 |
