Boston University was eight-and-a-half minutes away from securing the NCAA hockey title on Saturday when goaltender Matt O'Connor let in an embarrassing goal.
The Terriers were ahead of the Friars 3-2 when the long-distance lob handcuffed the netminder.
Providence would later add another goal to grab the lead, which secured the national title for the Friars.
