Former NHL pest Ville Nieminen calls it a career

Ville Nieminen, a veteran of 385 games in the NHL, has announced his retirement from hockey, reports Finnish news outlet MTV Sport.
The former NHLer earned the label of pest throughout his career and managed to record 48 goals and 69 assists along the way.
The third-round pick of the Colorado Avalanche in 1997 ended his career with Lukko Rauma of Sm-Liiga, earning 14 points in 50 games.
