Just hours after falling 2-1 in overtime to the Montreal Canadiens, the Ottawa Senators returned to the Canadian Tire Centre on Monday to honor assistant coach Mark Reeds.
The team gathered with personnel and Reeds' close family for a special ceremony to celebrate his life and achievements.
The assistant to Senators head coach Dave Cameron passed away on April 14 after a battle with esophageal cancer. He was 55 years old.
The Senators will now face a battle of their own as they look to overcome a 3-0 series deficit. Game 4 goes Wednesday in Kanata.
